Clarence was a 10 week old kitten dumped at one of our colonies along with his brother who we named Arnold.  Sadly he only could stay one night.  He left us in his sleep.  Goodnight handsome we will see you at the bridge one day.

Tortie

We cared for Tortie for a few years before she had to leave us.  She was probably the oldest and mother cat to the majority of the younger cats at her colony.  We were able to pet her and interact freely with her.  She was a beautiful kitty whose tail could curl up like a pigs tail.  See you again one day beautiful momma.

Oh sweet beautiful Collar.  Named because she had a white collar that resembled lace around her neck.  We were not able to TNR Collar she had a liter of 2 day old babies at the time of TNR.  While we were thankful to have rescued her babies it was very heartbreaking to have to let her go just a few months later.  See you again girly.....we hope your having a blast with your friend Licorice.

Since community cats are made up of a variety of cats we have made some bonds over our years.  Some we've cared for for many many years gaining their trust and enjoying the friendship throughout those years.  Some come into our lives only for hours, a few days or perhaps just for overnight.  They all have left their memories on our hearts while taking a tiny piece with them.  These are the kitties who couldn't stay.....but they will never be forgotten.
